GROUP SERVICES
Adult, Child and Adolescents in Georgia and Mississippi
New Progressions, LLC offers a host of group-skills training that is designed to engage individuals in group-formatted sessions towards the attainment and achievement of specific life or daily-living skills. Our group services span across many of our programs, for instance we hold peer groups, which fall under our Peer Support Program, substance abuse groups that fall under our Substance Abuse Program and traditional groups that fall under CORE.
Life skills that are generally discussed and achieved among participants during group sessions include:

Resource Management skills

Medication Management

Basic Knowledge (and Best Practices) of issues or challenges surrounding substance abuse, peer pressure, bullying, Healthy living tips, and other topics that assist in meeting the youth’s or family’s needs.
Groups are designed to meet clients where they are in terms of cognition and stage of recovery.
New Progressions, LLC offers a host of group-skills training that is designed to engage individuals in group-formatted sessions towards the attainment and achievement of specific life or daily-living skills. Groups are designed to meet clients where they are in terms of cognition and stage of recovery. Clients are assessed and placed in Tiers in order to ensure that the information shared in groups are relevant as well as easy to understand. Groups are led by Therapists, Paraprofessionals, and Certified Peer Specialists. Clients who would like to become a Certified Peer Specialized are guided and supported through the process once they have graduated through all of the Tiers.

New Progressions, LLC offers a host of Substance Abuse and Addiction Groups for Adolescents and Adults that are geared towards each possible phase in the addiction model (prevention, escalated use, abstinence, relapse, etc). We utilize two distinct evidence based treatment modalities. “The Matrix Model for Teens and Young Adults” and The Prime for Life model for adults are Evidence-Based treatment modalities that address Alcohol and other Drugs (AOD).

New Progressions, LLC offers a host of group-skills training and group therapy that is designed to engage individuals in group-formatted sessions towards the attainment and achievement of managing symptoms related to their mental health or co-occurring disorders ranging from depression, anxiety, psychosis, medication adherence, etc.

Is part of the CORE Services program, and are held for Adults (6 hours a week), and for Youth/Adolescents (3 hours a week), and include the following groups/topics:
